"A forever family for a little elephant"
Lovely book for adoptive families
This is a lovely book for adoptive families, explained through a mother elephant that cannot take care of her little one, even though she loves him very much. This prompts her to find a new forever family for her little elephant. The book honors the birth mother, and highlights that it is not lack of love that made her relinquish her precious little one. It also highlights the love of the adoptive family who was waiting for a baby. Overall, it is a healthy balance for adoptive kids to learn about their background. The illustrations are sweet and lovely, in pastel watercolors.

A must read book and specially for early education educators and for all
I love this book and highly recommended, I was a day care provider for 30 years and I never seen a book like this, it is so amazing to be able to relate to something that is happening to you or somebody you know, it is one of a kind and so sweet and tender way to understand a hard reality in life situation and you actually feel it in your heart is made in such a original loving and gentle way, I’m sure kids will understand the situation of the momma elephant and baby elephant.
I love it!

Beautiful story to share.
I loved the book especially how they wrote it in a subtle way, and generous for understanding when reading with our little ones at home, the story comes to me since in my family there is a case similar to the baby elephant and how became a part of us in this house the bear family is a beautiful, entertaining and enriching story that if one were to be in this situation then they could start in a nice way with this book to go on touching the subject in a way that is embodied in the book so subtle and full of love and thus connected with history and real life, it is possible to bring the subject more relaxed and have that positive impact, beautiful book, beautiful history and beautiful life, because of which the illustrations are striking and captured the attention of my son quickly and calmed down which for me is not easy but I saw his interest in reading me very happy to have acquired this beautiful story that must be told forever re and forever ... Congratulations Brenda H. Success.

Great story!
Looks like we found a new family favorite! This book is a story about an adopted elephant who finds his forever home with an unlikely family nothing like his. We also like how how it highlights his birth moms love for him.

Beautifully illustrated. A must-have for every family with adopted children.
I loved this book! It is beautifully illustrated and easy to understand. An excellent tool for parents of adopted children to teach their kids how much their biological parents loved them. As a psychologist and a mother, I know that it is essential for children to feel loved as children. As kids who feel love and affection tend to be secure, confident, and have high self-esteem. This book is a simple tool any adoptive parent can use with their children. A must-have for every family with adopted children.
